I bought this electric scooter off ebay, and within the first week of having it, the batteries didn't hold a charge anymore. The company i bought it from says they aren't responsible for anything like that, and they won't even send me replacement batteries. But i need a set of two 12 volt 4.5 AH valve-regulated batteries. Here's the specs:
the brand is VISION
CP 1245 12V 4.5AH
Valve regulated rechargable battery
constant voltage charge
cycle use: 14.5-14.9V
standby use: 13.6-13.8V
Initial current: less than 1.6A
Sealed lead battery
the dimnsions are:
3.5"x2.75"x4" (lxwxh)

Keep in mind it is a 100W scooter.
if you know of anywhere that i could get a set of two, it would be great. thanks.

Go to the Batteries Plus website, I've provided a link below, or call them and tell a representative the model of your electric scooter.

That is terrible. I can imagine. My friend (now in Hawaii) has a wheelchair scooter, but it uses a 12 V rechargable car battery. She gets 25 miles to the charge and I don't know any more than that. Sorry! Hope you get it fixed. I have to go to my doctor once a week in another town and gas is almost $4 a gallon here so the crunch is hitting me too. Debbie

If you live in Canada, try Canadian Tire.
If not, then I suggest a big chain hardware store.
