My unemployed lazy roommate steals any food that I leave in our shared kitchen. Thank God my best friend gave me his little refrigerator so I can put food under lock and key in my room. My roommate takes anything! I just discovered that he ate all but crumbs of my oatmeal and whey protein powder. He leaves a tiny bit in there so I won't think it's gone. Like I am dumb and don't know that a $30 container of Whey protein powder that I barely touched is gone. What a thief! When I accuse him he lies and he is the only other one in the house!!!!!!!!!! Has this happened to you???

We're on a tight budget but contrary to what everyone says (making all your own food from scratch is cheaper than buying ready made foods) I find that buying loads of fresh fruit and veg and ingredients for really nice recipes is REALLY EXPENSIVE! Especially when you buy herbs and spices and exotic ingredients.

Its got to the point where I'm just trying to buy really filling food like bread, cheese, rice and pasta, potatoes etc, some milk and yoghurt and only a tiny bit of fruit (a few apples, bananas and pears usually plus some fruit juice.)

But I don't know how to make interesting meals out of such a limited selection of food! Help! I'm vegetarian so don't eat meat.

Ok so I love oatmeal, (Not instant) I have it every morning with fresh fruit.. I was wondering if adding a teaspoon or tbsp of vanilla extract would be good..for a change of flavor? and if so would I add it when cooking it or after? Also is it true that adding milk to your oatmeal makes it lose nutrients..I saw that somewhere

Got any ideas ? How about a fish filet sandwhich, with
tarter sauce, tator tots, cut fresh peaches, danish roll, and
rich creamy chocolate milk. Just a nice dish I thought.
Some foods go real well together, almost like a flavorful
blend, and leaves a good taste in your mouth. Do you
have any best food combos ? If so, then give me your

Causing cancer and killing people, etc then how do you explain people in the South for example who are famous for eating greasy foods (and other things that supposedly are deadly in the long run) and who are well into their 70s-90s and still healthy? Kinda makes the "experts" seem like they don't know what they're talking about anymore, doesn't it?

America's favourite huh. Well about 6 years ago, I rediscovered how good a real pecan pie could actually
be ! I admit when I was a kid, one was not all that crazy
about pecan pie. But man, once I got my hands on
that Georgia brand, from the grocery store, it was history.
Apple pie is still a winner, but lacks soul in comparison.
But hey, Mickey D's have a nice one, in those little
