My friends have said," Oh tomato is a fruit because it has seeds." But cucumbers have seeds. Avacados have seeds. A lot of vegetables have seeds. So tomato....fruit or vegetable?

How much can you expect to spend? Do you have to pay extra for processing or is that included in the auction price? And what are the benefits of organic besides pesticide-free? I mean, don't they sell products to cleanse your produce with? I always try to buy organic for the sake of my children, but now that I'm on a really tight budget I'm not sure if organic is worth the high price? I will definately keep buying organic meats and dairy, but why is the produce so expensive?????

I know this sounds like a stupid question or...carnivorous..but I was wondering...why do we only eat certain birds like duck, chicken, goose etc.. why don't we eat the other birds like...seagulls, crows etc.?? Sorry if I'm being an idiot lol but I've never understood it. xx

we always make the simple, old ground beef with tomato paste, black pepper and some herbs. I want to try making new spaghetti sauce that still uses tomato paste. But not too wild things. Something simple yet more interesting than we always make. Any suggestions?

I bought a frozen meal (Banquet) and accidentally placed it in the normal compartment of the fridge rather than the freezer. It's been in there for about almost two days? If i take it out, should i still eat it? would the contents inside still be safe or "fresh" (frozen meals can't really be called fresh) to eat?

I was watching this show and they were mining salt for road use. It didn't look very sanitary. (How they were going about it). So I was wondering is table salt sanitized in some way while it is being processed?

I'm looking to purchase an electric meat grinder. Any recommendations? I don't want to spend a lot of money.
