What the hell is our FDA doing about it. Only 2 percent of foods brought in from forieghn countries are tested by the US government... People should revolt... What do you think?

Does anyone have any experience with the Cooking Club of America? Apparently you get to test kitchen gadgets, and it's only $12 per year, which includes 12 issues of a cooking magazine. Sounds too good to be true, and I can't find any small print on the info. they mailed me or the website. Anyone know anything about this company/offer?

Is it a red/green pepper? - cos they aren't peppery, or is a ground up chili pepper? - they are more hot than peppery, or is it some other pepper??

i CAN'T EAT THE FOLLOWING: bread,pizza crust/pizza,soda,pop corn,chips,candy,chocolate,marshmallows,hard foods,crackers & stuff like that...

I don't understand why Burger King has fish sandwiches on sale on Friday. Then I remembered that a long time ago my Catholic gf's home always ate fish on Fridays, and they said it was a Catholic thing?

Why do Catholics do this? I thought Catholics were fairly liberal and wouldn't have such rules regarding food like some of the stricter religions do.

Is it supposed to remind us of the fish and loaves miracle?

Even so, why? I don't get it. I feel angry and frustrated. I thought you were supposed to be friendly, and not have these secret rituals.
