What is it about thes delicious english crumpets that make them SOoo tasty - especially with butter and some marmite...WOW ! to me it is the perfect lunch. Maybe because im British it is ''ingrained'' in my genetics to enjoy them LOL ?? they are after all *very* traditional but they really are nice and i never met anyone who didnt like them - british or otherwise....! I also love the taste of marmite ( which is little like vegimite if your not sure what it is ) - its the perfect combination but I wonder why?

Ps - Crumpets if you dont know look this this http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dcrumpets%26ei%3DUTF-8%26fr%3Dyfp-t-447%26fp_ip%3DDE%26x%3Dwrt&w=180&h=123&imgurl=www.thebestlinks.com%2Fimages%2Fthumb%2F5%2F5e%2F180px-Crumpets%2C_hot.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thebestlinks.com%2FCrumpet.html&size=5.4kB&name=180px-Crumpets%2C_hot.jpg&p=crumpets&type=jpeg&no=20&tt=2,363&oid=7221f0f279fdee0a&ei=U

Is it because they care about what the consumer wants? Or is it that they're trying to rip off recipes and tips to sell at an incredibly inflated price instore?

hi
i get cashew nuts from my local market, and i was wondering if you could eat them raw. When i mean by raw, i don't mean 'raw' as in still in the red shell, but i mean should we heat it or dry roast it ..etc.?

It's driving me nuts, I love scrambled eggs but can't be bothered with the endless scrubbing of the saucepan afterwards.

I love bread, but I don't want to support companies that use yeast that are kept in inhumane conditions. I can't find any breads that indicate that they use free-range yeast and I can not BELIEVE that the FDA doesn't require them to inform consciencous consumers of the treatment of these magestic organisms. What can I do?
