I don't know how vegans or vegatarians can go without it. I love meat! How about you?

No. I eat a good steak 2 or 3 times a week. The doctor at my last check up said that I am healthy. My cholesterol levels are very low as far as bad cholesterol. I eat cheese, drink milk, and I eat eggs.
These nut jobs that are vegetarians are not healthy when they go get their check ups. I never have seen a "vegan" that looked healthy.
They eat a lot of soy products and that itself isn't so good for men. Maybe that is why so many don't even act like men.
By the way, my favorite steak is a fillet of tenderloin cooked medium to medium rare.
The crap about a vegan diet being better is a lie and they use lies that they call facts to back up what they say, but there is no " up to date " medical fact to back up what they say. In fact, to the contrary. The medical world finds the vegan diet very lacking in important nutrients that the body needs and can only get from beef, dairy and fish.

I used to eat meat all kinds. Now I can't stand the smell or look of any red meats, pork, fish, etc. I do not consider myself vegetarian because I will eat a bit of turkey on Thanksgiving, and every once in awhile I will eat grilled or baked. I could very easily become a true vegetarian. I have been this way for over 6 years now. It is hard to find protein sources. I do eat tofu and soy milk, cottage cheese, and I love refried beans. I know meat is the best source, but I do not enjoy it. To each his own though!

No. I love meat, and it is essential nutrition, despite what vegans and vegetarians will say. There are so many things in meat, fish, eggs and milk that you can't get anywhere but in a vitamin- and who wants to NEED to take pills to be healthy? Plus, I enjoy a little Jello now and then, and some honey in my tea. Animals were meant to be eaten.

I've tried to do it a few times but by the end of the week, I crack under the pressure of needing things like bacon or a steak. This is no doubt why I raise a lot of my own food... nothin makes me happier than a freezer crammed full of naturally raised, free range steaks, porkchops, rack of lamb, and cabrito, hah!

Veggie burgers taste like crap, I'd be better off grilling some cardboard and putting that on a bun.

I will be able to live without meat when they find a veggie that tastes like chicken

Save a plant; eat an animal.

Save a baby tree; cut down the big one blocking its sun.

I have gone without meat for a month to two--then, suddenly, I crave the stuff. I want to eat nothing but meat for a couple of days! I think that this is because I don't get enough protein from other forms, and my body needs protein.

I really can't get into soy, and I don't like pinto beans. I like peanut butter, but it has a lot of calories and cholesterol. I like peas, but how many of them can you eat... I like fish, but it is expensive--except for tuna--and I can't eat that every day.

i am a very happy person, but my being a vegetarian has no bearing on my demeanor. i have not eaten meat for 12 years. so yes, you can live happily without meat, if you are happy with yourself.

no I don't,but I like ground turkey fried up with seasonings, and I use it for meat loaf, in sauce,as burgers. It's healthier and better taste than ground beef.Gave up ground beef about 5 years ago.I do however cook meat for my family such as pork chops, chicken, steak ect.All a matter of opinion.
