Due to work I get a behind the scenes peek into a few local restaurant kitchens throughout the month. One night I watched as they made up hot sauce for the chicken wings (which always smells sooooo good, lol). I watched and saw that the two main ingredients were Frank's Red Hot Sauce, and some wine. I thought to myself "if you eat that, would it affect you as if you are having a few sips of wine?" I don't drink due to medical reasons, and after eating a few that were offered to me tonight I felt a little funny. Could it have been all in my mind, or would wine mixed with hot sauce have the same effect as if it was by itself?

I am a nostalgic person. Way back in the 1990s the kids were obsessed with TV shows like Power Rangers, Aladdin, and other stuff like waterslides and Beanie Babies and Goosebump books. I kept wondering what candies or sweets were popular back then that we suddenly don't like or forgot about. Anyway, if you can remember something, let me know. Thanks.

I buy vegetables about once every two weeks. At the two week mark, most of them look healthy and still have their color, and taste fine, so is it OK to eat them (the ones that are still good), or do they lose their nutritional value after a certain amount of time? I buy: snow peas, broccoli, green, yellow, orange and red peppers, green beans, and cucumbers.

I have been drinking a lot of unsweetened iced tea as an alternative to sodas, mainly because of the caffiene (minus the calories and sugar). Is this healthy or does tea have negative health effects?

By the way, I also drink lots of water to rehydrate myself.

My wife usually prepares a traditional punch for our family Christmas party. Several members, including herself, are now diabetic. She is trying to find a sugar free or diabetic recipe that is similar to the one she usually makes. The punch she usually makes contains pineapple juice, 7up, and sherbet along with a few other things I can't remember. I have searched yahoo and have not found anything that is close to what she is wanting. Since she thinks I am a guru of the internet and if it's out there I can find it I really need some help to save my reputation :-). I appreciate all the help and hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Christmas.
