Experation?

Yes, as long as there isn't any mold, you'll be fine.

Yes it is definitely safe. It simply won't taste as fresh as it would if eaten earlier. I used to be a bread distributor. The expiration date on bread is actually the date that it should be pulled from store shelves. It can then be sold for up to three days at a thrift store. Surprisingly, bread that has not reached its expiration date may sometimes mold if it has been exposed to extreme temperature differences. This causes moisture to build up inside the wrapper. It is best to simply use your own judgment based an taste, texture, and/or odor.

I assume you mean the expiration date. Yes it is safe. That date is only the last date the bread should be sold in order for it to stay fresh for the customer to eat within a reasonable time period.

Hm that is a good question. I am sure one day won't hurt. You should keep your bread in the freezer. It stays a lot longer and still taste exactly the same.

As long as you express your concern to the bread, it's fine.

So long as it's not moldy. If it's stale you could always make bread crumbs or croutons or bread pudding.
