I know this is a really dumb question, but my wife says she heard somewhere the moms back in the 50s or 60s or whenever just made up all that stuff about not swimming for 30 to 60 minutes after eating because you would get cramps and drown just because they wanted a chance to clean up and rest after dinner before going out to the pool to watch the kids. I didn't know moms had that kind of political power. Has anyone else heard this or is my wife trying to make me look stupid?

I've always wandered that because if it's Tuna then why do they call it chicken, but if its chicken then why do they say of the sea?

Your Answers to the first question so far has shut my boyfrind up- for a minuite about no wonder he cant taste the sugar in his tea because of the way i stir it. Now he's saying its not about which way tea is stirred its about the way i do it! I stir my tea clockwise but he's pointed out that my teaspoon is backwards! so now im rephrasing my question! DOES IT MATTER WHICH WAY ROUND MY SPOON IS? when im stirring a cup of tea? does it make a difference? it tastes the same to me an i now really do think he's being too fussy! your opinions will help to end this stupid debate about tea!

Recently ive been eating rubbish like pizza , coke , all the usual junk food. Ive noticed a big change in my anger and sometimes not being able to control it.

Usually i eat really healthy and prefer homemade food. Hence Ive noted these changes. I do intend to go back to eating better food this week.

This is a large predatory fish (without stripes) and is caught in the English Channel.

How does it compare in taste to Cod, Haddock, Soles, Plaice, Hoki etc?

Not just in the potato salad, but for their chips, mash (what does mashed swede look like!), with their Roast Turkey Christmas etc.

This seems a silly question but i was making my fella a cuppa when he sais 'no wonder i cant taste the sugar in my tea you dont stir it the right way'! eh? i didnt think it mattered as long as you give it a good stir to make sure the sugar disolved! does it matter really? or is he just being fussy?
