Yep, the Dover Sole, where are they on the supermarket shelves?

Not the Lemon Sole. Why has the Lemon Sole's price gone through the roof?

Hoki is fish cakes fish like the American Pollock.

It's not as popular as it used to be m8, you can get it through specialist suppliers. Ask at any top dept store they will help you. I love them......................

I wish i could get some good Dover sole,
but it has indeed vanished from the shelves

I get very good fresh lemon sole, from Tescos ( very pricey !!)

, I also am able to get, Maldon Dabs, occasionally,
from local fishermen
They are smaller ,but almost as good, as the old Dover sole .

Yum!

Try finding out what propertion of fish that are caught in the North sea are diseased and have to be thrown away because of the pollution.

Ask also what has happened to the UK fishing fleet and why? The quotas are so low because there are so few healthy fish left.

Over the last decade the japenese trawlers have been right up to our shores digging everything thing up even the weeds on the ocean floor and scooping up all our fish ..........ask any sea angler or your local scuba club and they will say the same........
I am talking about the english channel

the only people eating fresh dover sole are the fisherman at the moment they are out of season thats why they are not on supermarket shelves
