I use to be able to eat mangoes and pineapples without any problems but lately I find I get irritation on my tougue from them- is this an allegic reaction or does everyone feel this too?

I really want to know what they call French Dips in France. I have asked this question before and only got joke answers. (If you don't know what a French Dip is, then don't answer).
