As we grow older our bodies go thru changes, sensitivity to food is also some of the pleasantries, what you might be having is reaction to the acid in the fruit, cut back on the portions and you should be fine, however if this does not resolve it you maybe be quiet sensitive to the type of acid, I would see a Dr. who specializes in allergies or just stop eating them, your not alone I have my own NONO foods its a drag.

Mango-
probably because of the taste, but
Pineapple-
It usuallly shouldn't do anything...
but next time you buy a pineapple do this-
pull a leave (or whatever those things are called in the middle)
and if it is white at the very bottom that means it is a good one ...
Oh and smell the bottom of the pineapple and see if it smells like an original pineapple....
Usuallly if it doesn't smell like a pineapple pick another one..
k
Have a Great Summer!!!
.....
Oh Yeah!!
This is Very Good Information!
It is from a friend that works in the fruit bisnuiss(forgot how to spell).

Are you talking about fresh fruit or the dried pineapple and mango? I don't have any problem with the fresh fruit but the dried fruit has sulphur in it, which irritates my tongue and my lips if I eat more than a couple of pieces.

No it is not an alergic reaction, mango's and pineapples are very acidic and if you eat alot of them your tounge will begin to burn due to natural chemicals in the fruit, if you feel it starting to burn leave the fruit alone for a while, it will only get worse.

that's an previous different halves tale sweetheart. Mangoes are strong for skin because they are extreme in diet A. I eat mangoes contained in the summer season and characteristic suitable skin (I truly have psoriasis on my scalp besides the undeniable fact that it has no longer something to do with mangoes). when I hear the be conscious mango i imagine of health practitioner No, below The Mango Tree became a music that became taking area in on the radio in 007's automobile, on the bar, and Honey Ryder became making a music it even as she walked out of the water. that's it I truly could watch that action picture back!

First - you can develop an allergy to various things, but often the above mentioned fruits can cause a tingling or irritation because of the chemicals composition. They are used in meat tenderizers because of this. This is also why you cannot use them in jello without cooking them first to neutralize them - they won't allow the jello to set.
