I need a snack for 100-150 adults/kids.
Need something different than chips/salsa,cake,bagels
I would like to make chili but think that would be too expensive.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I am planning a small get together in a couple of weeks. I would like to do fall-themed appetizers. I will be having mulled wine, cider, and pumpkin bars - but I need to round out the menu with a few appetizers. It will be a short evening party. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you! :)

I'm on the "Company Christmas Party Committee" at work and it's my responsibility to come up with ideas for entertainment. And quite honestly, I have no idea what to suggest.

I've browsed on Yahoo and Google, and I'm still absolutely clueless about what sort of activities to suggest. For the past 2 years we've done trivia, and we definitely want to avoid doing that again this year (or anything too similiar).

The party will have roughly 40-55 total guests, separated between 6-8 tables (if that's helpful), but the potential activities can be
focused on either teams/groups OR individual participation. We want something appropriate (humor is fine, just something appropriate).

Potential activities should also not be very physical. We'll be having a sit-down dinner and will be conducting the event afterwards. Potential activities should last between about 1-3 hours.

For my son's first birthday we're having a lunch potluck (around noon). There will be about 25-30 adult guests and maybe 5 little children. The theme is going to be "Teddy Bear Picnic".

First... do you think this is appropriate, an ok idea? (I did not want to cook everything for all those people, and setting the time any later will either make a really short party, or cut into my son's naptime and he will be grouchy.)

Second, what should I say on the invitations, that would convey all this in the best, most concise way?

Any other suggestions would be helpful as well... thanks!

i work for a company who is now offering 5000.00 for a new product idea. either to make an existing product better or a new product. this line only has a few products beacause they do unique chef products. for example a 16 blade meet tenderizer or a 60 galon salad dryer and a unique knife sharpener.

do you have any good ideas for me. do you know of any products that would help in a kitchen. nothing electric and no knives/spoons/forks unless its a unique tipe of knife/spoon or fork.

thanks for your help

Hi. I am having a Karaoke birthday party for my 7 year old. It has to be on a school night between 5:30 and 7:30 pm. Any ideas on what to serve for food and refreshments. I can always do pizza, but kind of wanted something different. I need something easy and fast as there isn't much time and the girls just need to be able to grab and go. The parents may also stay for the party so I kind of need something for them too. It's also dinnertime, so I guess I have to serve a "meal". Anyway, an early thanks to all those who answer.
