Beans in a crock pot.
Cheese and crackers.
Round bread hollowed out and filled with dip...toast the bread pieces to dip and/or add bread sticks.
You can cut things up in bite size pieces to make them stretch. creme horns, roll up sandwiches, calzone.
Hot dogs cut into little pieces on toothpicks with a dipping sauce.
Large bowl of pasta salad.
Green salad.

Spanish rice...takes only rice, tomato sauce, water and some spices! Rice is so cheap, it's almost free. And, oh so easy.

Put some olive oil (or other oil) in the bottom of a large skillet. Add enough rice to cover the bottom of the skillet completely. Add spices that you like such as: salt, seasoned salt, pepper, lemon pepper, chili powder, onion/garlic powder, cilantro. Stir while rice starts to brown very slightly...some will change to an opaque white. Then add tomato sauce, enough to wet down the rice. I use a small can for a small skillet. You might use 2 of those, or one large one. Add some (several cups) hot water, all at once. Stir, return to very low boil. Put on the lid. Do not stir or remove lid for 20 minutes. Turn off fire, fluff rice. Serve.

I hope that works for you. If not, a good ole pot of pinto beans always hits the spot...add bacon or ham hocks for flavor.

Potato soup is also great, but lotsa prep work to peel a ton of potatoes, but you can stretch it well with milk and thickener such as flour or corn starch.

Peace be with you!

You can make chili. When I want a quick and easy and inexpensive meal I go to the store and grab big cans of pinto beans. (do not drain) You add a can of tomato sauce and a packet of chili seasoning along with browned ground beef or turkey. You can add onion if you want and I would top the individual servings with shredded cheese. Trust me, this does not cost a lot and it's quick and easy. You can serve it with corn bread too. The best mixture is Marie Calendars. Sometimes I just pop by the restaurant and get a couple of loaves already made. Hope this helps. Take care.

This one looks pretty simple..(as simple as it can be for 150)
it has a nice presentation...and is different...
Breakfast Sausage Bread (serves 150)

INGREDIENTS
9-1 pound) loaves frozen white bread dough, thawed
2-1/4 pounds mild pork sausage
2-1/4 pounds hot pork sausage
7 cups diced fresh mushrooms (opt)
2-1/3 cups chopped onion
14 eggs
11-3/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons dried basil
1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed
1 tablespoon and 1-3/4 teaspoons garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
Allow dough to rise until nearly doubled.
Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble sausage. Add mushrooms and onion. Cook and stir until the sausage is browned and vegetables are tender; drain. Cool. Beat 1 egg, set aside. To sausage mixture, add 2 eggs, cheese and seasonings; mix well. Roll each loaf of dough into a 16-in. x 12-in. rectangle. Spread half the sausage mixture on each loaf to within 1 in. of edges. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting at a narrow end; seal edges. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes; brush with beaten egg. Bake 5-10 minutes more or until golden brown. Serve warm.

chili is cheap if you go to Gordon Food Service or buy the institutional size at Walmart or Cost Co

A huge can of beans is 6, a huge can of tomatos is 4, buy the cheapest groundbeef for $.99 - 1.99 a pound, add onions, garlic, seasoning

cheap, cheap, cheap,

I think that you could feed everyone for about $50.00 (you are talking about 100-150)

good luck

Cheese and crackers is a fun and classic way to snack. You can get different kinds of cheeses, maybe some deli meat, and make at least 200 pieces for under $20.
