A few years ago my mother and I experienced our first high tea. I wanted to re-create this event for her.

Does anyone know how to go about this? I need food ideas, and, if the food is a little more crative, recipes.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Please give me anything at all related including good wines to give as gifts, good sites that you can buy directly from, good homemade ideas, good holiday ideas. I want giving gifts to never be a problem for me again! (I've been told I sometimes give boring gifts).

We'll have latex gloves as balloons, bedpans as centerpieces, pill bottles with candy as favors, serving sandwiches with the mayo and mustard in lg syringes. IV bag for the punch.
Any other inspirations would be so appreciated.

I'm currently stage managing a student theatre piece with a small ensamble cast (four of them). The director and I have been trying to plan a dinner/"bonding evening" for the six of us. In this play, one of the characters is the gay imaginary friend/"voice of reason" of one of the other characters. And in most of the scenes he's in, he's eating something, well, rather phalic looking (a banana in one, and a corn dog in another). This has become one of our running jokes during our rehearsals, so the director and I have been thinking that it could be fun to serve mostly phalic-shaped foods at this dinner. The thing is, we haven't been able to think of may options, aside from the obvious things like sausages/hot dogs, carrots, and bananas. So, does anyone have any ideas for us?

for my party, im changing my theme completely and having a 90s theme. its in august and im having it on my deck with about 20 people from 7-11 pm. im decorating with different toys, such as barbies, furby, magic 8 ball, stuff like that. for music, im playing the stuff that i used to listen to... nsync, backstreet boys, old britney spears, old christina aguilera, lfo, sclub7, ateens, etc. food is chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese. drinks are probably kool aid and orange soda (because of keenan and kel) and a variety of other kinds of soda too. theres gonna be lots of candy out, like warheads, ring pops, gushers, etc. im putting out my nsync trivia board game and twister.
is this idea good? should i have people dress in 90s fashion? other games? other food? other music? decorating suggestions? anything is appreciated. thanks!
