tell you what... do a combination of both. go to the chipshop for a bag of chips and when you get back butter some bread and make chip buttys. mmm!!!!

I must be from another planet cause I don't know what a Chip Shop is? Some place that serves fish and peas by the sounds of it.

No - I suggest you make something at home. Start with home made soup using all the veggies you've got, then roast a swan and do all the trimmings including seaweed stuffing, for the sweet course do yourself a nice creme brulee and to finish, a selection of cheeses including some made from buffalo milk. Then wash it all down with an 1876 vintage Port.
Alternatively, you can always go down the chippy ! ! !

I live in Houston, Texas, home of no decent chip shops. For God's sake, go to the chip shop & think of all the wretched chipless souls in the world (or at least me) when you raise the bottle of malt vinegar.

I never go to the chippy and myself and my two daughters are sitting at the table tucking in to chip butties as i type!!!!
We stopped on the way back from the shops, go, go, go, go!

you got no food in to cook any thing so stop lying an go the chippy get chips mushy peas fish on top an curry sauce yummy ..

If you are going to have mushy peas then go for the chippy if not just a sandwich from whatever old stuff in your fridge will do.
