Beer, Wine & Spirits - December 2007

I was hoping some drink connoisseurs out there could help. The other day at a oriental restaurant, I had what is called a quail egg shot. It was a shot of quail egg, Saki and a splash of hot sauce or something. Anyways, it was quite pleasant and it got me wondering, what other EXTREME alcoholic ethnic/regional type mixes are out there? I can't seem to find any info. on it but I know there has to be some crazy drinks or shots out there like the quail egg shot, something alot more daring than the Singapore Sling. Hopefully some of you can give some suggestions, thanks!

Today, I had brought some candies and on the candies they says : Tequila Lemon with liquid corner...Cocktail flavoured

But the ingredients say : sugar, liquid glucose, malk acid, artificial flavour and color.

So is there alcohol inside that candy? I really hope not !!!

I have very low alcohol tolerance. Even though I eat a lot before I go out with my co-workers, after i drink a few glasses of apple or lemon drop martini, i get drunk and my head starts to spin...i vomit after i get home and have trouble recovering the nexy day.

i was wondering is there an alcohol that is very light in general for a very low alcohol tolerant female and doesnt give her a headache or get her drunk easily????
(i don't drink more than 3-4 glasses of apple or lemon drop martini, but i still have a difficult time coping)

i just bought 6 bottles of BOAVENTURA from Livermore valley, Cabernet Sauvignon ....i dont have a wine celler can i just store at room temp or put them in the garage in the frig?.

Ok, so i mixed maybe half a glass of peach schnapps with coke, and drank it, and then i stopped. for the rest of the night I've been feeling extremely dizzy and shaky??? its obviously not alcohol poisoning, i mean how can i get that from just half a glass. I'm 18 and like 110-115lbs. I don't even see how i could get drunk from that. Or is it possible?

I know getting drunk off of wine is so nasty (the sickest i have ever been) but what about champaign? I had some champaign tonight and it tasted great. I want something new to try in terms of getting drunk besides vodka, rum, whiskey, and beer. Should i try champaign for awhile or will i regret it right away?

I know in most states in the US the age to purchase alcohol is 21. I wanted to know if minors simply cannot purchase alcohol or they cannot consume it at all. Let's say you're at a restaurant and your dad buys you a beer and you're under the drinking age. Is that illegal?

Some of the laws are so confusing and I just wanted to set it straight for myself.
