Beer, Wine & Spirits - March 2007

I have a bottle of Triple Sec liquor, it's rather strong to drink it on its own, and I would like to mix some cocktails with it. I know that Triple Sec is a component for Margarita, but I don't like tequila. Are there any other simple cocktails to make with Triple Sec?

I am live in Lithuania-its a small country-about 3.6 mln people.But in respect of beer-its a great country,I mean.We produced more than 50 kinds of beer,and many of kinds is very good.For me visit my son-in law from UK,he is very like many kinds of beer.But now I have big problem-befor 1.5 month I have heart attac(infarct).The doctors says, what I can drink 2 glasses.What a pity!Although my wife says me in respect of beer-not in horse feed(like speak russians).I am from beer not grow fat(for information -age46 years old,height-176 sm,weight-80 kg).Very interesting how with beer in your country(now I have many free time for rest-the first time in my life!Wait for your opinions!With best regards Alex!

I need to smuggle some alcohol into a dry event. its funny, you can carry fruit in, but not alcohol. someone told me to soak grapes in rum and stick them in the freezer. does this work? do I have to slice them? Is the freezer better than the fridge?

I did yesterday from smoking way too much celebrating St. Patty's day. I haven't had a cigarette since that night! Going on 36 hours now... (we're about 14 hrs ahead of US time here in Japan). everytime I go out with my friends to drink, everyone gets so drunk and I never, I end taking everyone home, yesterday I drink 10 tequilas (no joke) 5 glasses of vodka and orange juice, 7 glasses of black label and apple juice, and like 4 weird shots of something...I think that's a lot of alcohol but alcohol does nothing to me that's why I keep drinking ...all my friends where in the floor with just 3-5 tequilas....I ofcourse never has a hangover either...
why I have such resistance to alcohol?
any scientific explanation?
