Old men who put the pack in their shirt pockets. I used to work at a gas station and the cigarettes in a soft pack are generally about 1/4 inch longer than the hard pack, so I would have the more "thrifty" smokers buy soft pack, too

The only thing good about about the soft pack is just when you think you are "out" there is always one hiding in the back corner.

My ex husband was always working on cars and he wore those western style shirts with snap pockets. Well he HATED hard packs cuz his shirt pocket would not button with one in it and when he leaned over they would all fall out so he always had to have soft packs so his pocket would button so he wouldn't lose his cigs.
