I need to smuggle some alcohol into a dry event. its funny, you can carry fruit in, but not alcohol. someone told me to soak grapes in rum and stick them in the freezer. does this work? do I have to slice them? Is the freezer better than the fridge?

Well I thought this sounded really interesting so I decided to search Google for instructions. I couldn't find a thing about grapes! I did find this though:

"Grab your watermelon and cut a hole in the side of it. Fill it with Vodka, put the piece of shell back in position and leave it in the fridge for at least a day. This is imperitive as the vodka will soak nicely through the melon meaning your mates will get smashed while having a nice serving of fruit."

As for the grapes, I wonder if they suggested you freeze them afterwards to keep them from leaking or something? Anyway, I'd like to try both the grapes and watermelon sometime. Sounds like fun. :o)

Stick with the "vodka in the water bottle" routine. More booze, less chances with the grapes not soaking up the alcohol thoroughly.
