Don't get caught and enjoy the wine. :-)
It would be wasteful to throw something good out. I too enjoy a wine.

I did many of those too, love learning and tasting the samples. Except, at the end they want you to dump it all. They can get into trouble for giving out free stuff. The State needs their cut :(
Me, I can't take a chance of losing my job. Do what they tell you and you will have a job the next day. I know that is not what you want to hear, but in the long run you can pay your bills. That is why you work , right?

G'day Laughing Magpie,
Thank you for your question.
It depends on whose wine it is. If it is your wine, you could probably take it home and consume it yourself. If it is the company that employs you to host wine tasting events and pays for the wines, you should comply with their rules. Their rules will probably say that you should comply with the liquor rules. It isn't worth losing a good job over taking a few half-empty bottles of wine home.
Regards

i agree with you on taking it home, i mean its going to waste if ya just throwing it out. i mean some of that wine thats tasted is real good. How does it effect anyone weather you throw it in the bin, or take it home.

Hate to sound like a party pooper, but not only are you jeopardizing your job and possibly a fine for your employer, but, depending where you live, perhaps an open container fine. Here in California, all three of the above would be the fear! Good luck!
