When we make Harvey Wallbangers, the Galliano doesn't float. We have tried pouring the Galliano down a stirring rod, and pouring it over a spoon, but that doesn't help.

Try using a Spoon...turn it over so the back of the spoon is facing up and allow the Galliano to drizzle slowly off the spoon onto the drink...It also works with a Marachino Cherry....

Tilt the glass and pour it down the edge very slowly. I don't know why the spool didn't work. It does for me. Was it upside down. By the way, who still drinks Harvey Wallbangers and is young enough to be on Yahoo answers anyway?

I love Harvey Wallbangers! I found just pouring really slowly works. I don't think there is a special technique, just a steady hand. Enjoy your drinks.

Turn the spoon on its back and place it at the tip of the cup and start pouring from the mid of the stem of the spoon.
