I like coke but I know I am gonna become a biffa if I keep drinking it, and I don't like diet coke,or zero.

It's to drink with vodka, any ideas.

I've tried drinking Malibu and Vodka straight to get a nice buzz going quickly, but both made me very sick. I find i can only drink beer and control my limits with it but it takes ages for me to get drunk/tipsy. I want a nice buzz going quickly but something thats not gonna make me heave as soon as i put it in my mouth or smell it?

Here's what I did and here's what I'm going to do next. What do you think?

I made my first batch of Sangria.
1 bottle of 2005 Folie a Deux Menage a Trois California Red Wine (I heard the 2004 was a good choice, but not available to me at the time).
2 cups Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
1/4 cup no pulp Orange Juice.
1 mini Korbel Brandy
2 Tbsp C&H Sugar
1 sliced Lime
1 sliced Lemon
1/2 sliced Fuji Apple

I added a couple of ziplock baggies of ice cubes and chilled it in the refrigerator for an hour (didn't have an overnight option). Shared it with 3 other people with the admonition that I had no idea if it was going to be terrible or decent or great. They all liked it and drank it to the last drop.

I enjoyed it, but thought it was too sweet. So I'm thinking of
doing it all over again, but this time leaving out the 2 tablespoons of sugar to reduce the sweetness.

What would you do to improve my recipe? Feel free to try my recipe to see how you like it.

This is for people who have had good wine. Whats up with people saying old wine is better? Is it really better or is it just more potent? Could you tell if its old wine? And whats up with people talking about good years? Cuz to me all of this sounds like its better then the earth and I'm no too sure about this. People pay so much for good wine, why? Help me understand.

I recently finished bartending school.I have a background in the food service industry. However when I apply for these jobs,I get laughed at,or passed up by a 19 year old cute lil girl.I know how to make all the drinks, and I do not have an attitude problem.Did I pick the wrong gig? They all say I need to be a barback, that any monkey can mix drinks. So I come back as a customer;the very person that told me any monkey can mix drinks;doesn't even know how to pour.can not handle more than 3 or four drinks in his head at a time..and does not know his booze at all.I do not get it!
All I am going to do is work hard;and responsibly maximize liquer sales.OH and on top of all that he did not even know the correct glass or garnish..... Plz give me input!

I think that if they made alchol legal to people over 15 there wouldn't be such a substance abuse...well maybe the first 5 years that they make it legal there would be some abuse but after that people will just get tired of it and wont want to do it as often . Like in Germany

Otherwise, consumers coming to the style for the first time will be mislead into believing this is the way it was always intended to taste.

Currently there are no restrictions, for example, on producers of Brunello or Amarone from altering the traditional style with the generic, modern "international" style of winemaking.

What suggestions would you give to regulators for distinguishing between a traditional and a generic "international" style of wine on the label?

My mom came to visit about a month ago, and I took her to the Jack Daniels distillery where she bought a bottle of whiskey. Then they implemented the insane ban of liquids on planes, so she couldn't carry it back with her. Can I send it to her in the mail?

I have found that a glass or two will allow the brain to focus on one task at a time. this may not always be desireable, but at night it allows for some clear thinking.
