What can you bring to the table that no one else offers?

Employers today are looking for new and inovative ideas!

Answers like "honesty", "integrity", "a strong work ethic", etc. don't cut it! I find that sad, but it's true.

Be creative, know the job you're applying for. Be agressive, but subdued. Know as much as possible about the company and just what they do to make MONEY! At the end of the day all companies (aside from the government) are in business to make money whether it's by producing and distributing "widgets" or selling the success of your legal firm to clients that really don't need your help.

when you're applying for a job you're in SALES. You're selling yourself and your abilities.

Many times they want "specific" examples of in your past work experience or schooling how you have dealt with certain situations. Also, they may ask you if you have any weaknesses and if so what. Be prepared also for "inappropriate" questions and how you plan on answering them (are you married, religion, kids, race, etc.) they shouldn't be asked and you honestly shouldn't answer yet they often do come up. They may ask what you can bring to the position (so do your homework on the company and the position). Learn as much as possible about the company and position before going.
