Any idea on the value/rarity/quality of a sealed 1 gallon bottle 6 year aged Canadian Club Whisky (blended) vintage 1970?

Same as the ones in the store. Whiskey and other liqueurs do not age in the bottle. Only, wine ages in the bottle. When you see the age of a whiskey on the bottle its the years in the barrel. It doesn't improve after bottling no matter how many years old it is.

Hotclaws is right about the agething. Since whisky matures in the cask and not in the bottle, there's hardly any difference in taste as to when it was bottled. There won't be any increase in value because of the aging, but there might when it is a very rare brand or bottle. I don't know about prices in the States or Canada, but over here a bottle like that would do ± 45 EURO = ± 58 USD. But then over here they charge a lot of taxes on liquor, so it'll probably be cheaper.

Unfortunately not much. The good news is that CC is a good whiskey and it doesn't go bad, nor does the flavor improve though once bottled. You best bet might be to sell it to a bottle collector. I would say the value is probably between $50-$100 USD.
