For example, my co-worker is telling me that Miller Lite in Minnesota has over 10% alcohol per volume while Miller Lite in Virginia has only 2.5%. Seems far fetched. Please give me a thurough answer...Got money riding on this in a little wager!

Ok, I LOVE Guinness...it is just about impossible to beat a well poured pint after a long day.

But when they charge you $6 + doesn't that just piss you off...I pay it...but honestly...when I can find a pint for under $4 I am just happy as hell.

Discuss.

Do you think it's weird that a 17 years old has never gotten drunk in her life? What do you think about it?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any home remedies or suggestions to help me out. I've heard of the "asian flush", and I assume that thats what I have-- the lack of enzymes. When I drink, even after one drink, I look like I am drunk and it's very embarrassing trying to explain.

The only way I've found to slow it down is to drink water heavily while I'm drinking-- but then I'm always making trips to the bathrom. Quite embarrassing.

So pretty much me + alcohol = embarrasing.

I LOVE the taste of alcohol, and I would like to be able to drink casually! Anybody know anything to help???

Because once you are in the car and it is going fast down the road and it is going all over the road, the driver may not listen to you if they are drunk.

until I do have some alcoholic beverage to drink. I usually only drink ONCE on the weekends. I say usually, because most of my friends work like 60 hours a week and aren't always available to hit the bars on weekends. But when I do drink, I DRINK. I used to be a big time binge drinker like all the time. Now, I just binge drink whenever I do drink. How often? I already said. But anyway, it takes about 12 beers for me to get a buzz and I'm not a heavy guy. I'm 6'5" and under 200 pounds but I just have a large tolerance. About two or three days after my drinking day, I'll start having nightmares every night thereafter for about a week if I don't have anything to drink. I don't crave alcohol and I know my limits. Unlike many of my friends, I don't think I'm invincible and if I've had more than two pints in an hour, if there's no designated driver, I walk home or get a cab. Is this nightmare thing a sign of alcoholism even though I don't feel addicted??
