I would give it four days to spoil completely.. best to drink it as soon as it's opened. It spoils quickly because of the oxygen that you've let into the bottle (oxidation and heat are wine's worst enemies.) Refrigeration will help but it won't help a lot because the other enemy, oxygen, is still in the bottle.. but throw it in the fridge anyway (corked, of course) to eliminate the heat factor and to slow the oxidation process due to the lower temperatures. Another thing you might want to try is pouring the leftover wine into a smaller bottle if you have one lying around (cleaned out and dried off of course,) this way the wine can be filled to or near the top and sealed (cork, other types of bottle caps, etc..) this will also help prevent oxidation from occurring since the wine isn't exposed to air. Regardless of what method you use, removing the air from the bottle, transferring the wine to a smaller bottle, refrigeration - it should be consumed ASAP (preferrably the day you open it) to ensure that you get the maximum quality out of your wine, and the most bang for your buck.. because once you reach (max) 4 days, it's pretty much kaput.

This is up to personal opinion.
Once a bottle of wine is opened, the wine is now exposed to air and begins to oxidize rapidly. Without putting the cork back in, I would estimate that the wine would taste considerably different within 4-8 hours. Whether or not you still like it is up to you.
If you put a cork back on after pouring the glasses, the oxidation process slows. However the little air that is left in it will still allow oxidation to occur. Many people feel the wine is still OK the next day or even 2 days later, while others think it has already changed. Again, this is personal choice.
Finally, if you use some type of vacuum seal, or use a gas to fill in the bottle, the wine's oxidation will slow even more. There are those that feel a bottle of wine that is properly handled in this manner may last for several days. Others think it still tastes different. Again, personal choice.
Me, I'm an admitted wine snob. I think wine tastes very different the next day without using vacuum or gas. With vacuum or gas, the wine is perhaps OK the next day, but still not like it was when it was first opened.

Only two or three days once it's opened. At this point, it becomes oxidized from exposure to air. You could slow down the oxidation process by filling the bottle with an inert gas like argon, nitrogen, or CO2. You can buy spray cans of 'wine preserver' at some wine stores.

It will not go bad immediately but the taste continues to deteriorate after the second day - in essence it won't go bad until a couple of days after the expiry date (after being opened) but in the case of white wine, the best judge is you and if it doesn't taste right, then it ain't right.

I'm more of a red wine drinker, but for me, if I don't have a vaccum seal cork (you can buy them at good liquor stores); then the wine usually tastes strange the next day to me.

Mmmm..I love wine. Wine should always be drunk the same day you open it...if not, leave it opened in the fridge...it's not as good the next day but my husband and I always manage to drink it if we have any left (which is rare).

i find on average, it lasts about a week in the refrig, but always smell and sip. some turn sooner than others. you can prolong the life by pumping the air out and using one of those gray vacuum seals

If you keep the cork in it, the bottle will last about a week. I would drink it up so you don't waste your money.
