Clear alcohols do not improve with age, nor do the darker versions once they are taken out of the barrel and bottled. The bottle is not rare, so you might as well open it and drink it.

If the bottle's in perfect shape and never opened, it might be worth a little more than a new bottle. Hard alcohol doesn't age once it's in glass.

The gin is worth nothing, really. Taste it and see if anything has happened to it.

The bottle will probably sell on eBay, if you want to go to the trouble of doing it.

a little more than a new bottle because Gordons reduced the alcohol from 40% (70º) to 37.5 and reduced the quantity from 75cl (26.6 fluid ozs) to 70cl but kept the same price.
