Do you think it's weird that a 17 years old has never gotten drunk in her life? What do you think about it?

I think it all depends on the person. Some teenagers are into drinking and stuff and others aren't. I think that it's very admirable that she hasn't gotten drunk and I hope that my kids turn out to be like that! (You've given me hope!!)

I think not getting drunk is best. You have your whole life to do stupid stuff like that. You might as well do it the huge portion of your life it's legal to, instead of the small twenty one years it's not legal, if you really feel the need to drink. If you don't know if you're allergic to alcohol or not, it's a good idea to wait until you can handle a situation where you are out of control.

Thats totally normal. It would be less normal had she been drunk before. 17? Man, I am 25 and seventeen seems like so long ago. So imagine how much time you have to party and possibly drink in the future. Drinking isn't all gum drops and lollipos anyways.

I think it's normal. I was almost 21 before I even had my first drink. I later, worked in a bar for 12 years also. It's nice to wait. What's the hurry. It's no big deal. I don't drink at all now. It never was THAT much fun to begin with. You aren't missing much.

It is perfectly normal.

I didn't drink at all until my mid 20's.

Don't feel pressurised to join in. There's a lot of calories in booze also.

Try drinking tonic water with ice & lemon and if anyone asks you can say it is gin , or vodka, and tonic.

And it is stupid to get drunk deliberately. (although new drinkers accidentlaly get drunk because they do not know their limits)

I'm 26 yeards old and never drunk an alcohol. It's just a choice. I don't think it's cool to get drunk and then puke after. also you get a hangover. don't get pressured to drink by your friends.

Nope, it's perfectly fine. I'm 17 and I don't drink either.

I actually have more respect for people who don't drink, because it shows they have more self control. There is really nothing you need to prove by drinking/smoking/doing drugs; it's all useless.

Of course it's normal to be 17 and not ever have an ounce of alcohol. Be proud of yourself.

absolutley nothing wrong with that at all. you shouldn't start drinking till your 21, but even then you shouldn't since its not good for you. contrary to common belief, you don't need to drink to be cool. stay sober my friend.
