Me and two others say that nourishing solids and nourishing liquids equal food. My other friends catagorize liquids as just beverages which are different from food. Soup and slushes must be a confusing then...

I'm looking for good (Yummy) ideas for my christmas baskets. Last year I had White Chocolate Cranberry cookies, Rumballs, Spiced Pecans, and other types of cookies.

Any cool/out-of-the-ordinary ideas you have would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Thanks!!! And Happy Christmas!

I'm wanting to bake a tuna steak for my hubby and I don't have a clue where to start. I don't cook/eat seafood so I'm a total lost.

I know that I'm to cook it at something like 450 degrees - 10 minutes per inch thick.

But I'm thinking some grilled vegetables would go great as a side.

Can anyone suggest a vegetable(s) that would taste great grilled with the tuna?

Also, what should I add to the baking tuna?

Thanks.

My mom made chili awhile ago, and canned it (in a mason jar with a sealed lid). It's been in my fridge for at least 3 months. Is it ok? I know you can buy chili in a can from the grocery store...so I was wondering if this would be the same kind of thing?

i'm having some friends over for dinner this wed night and i'm making homemade beef stroganoff. i'm wondering what vegetable would go with that? i was thinking about serving peas. and what would be good to drink? wine? we usually just have the stroganoff by itself and drink milk, lol. i will also be serving crescent rolls with the dinner...they seem to go well with it. any suggestions you have would be great!
