and can someone give me recipes for icing and frosting that is easy to do. i love working on boiled icing, maybe can someone give me another recipe for it, that has been tested. thanks

I was making BBQ chicken last night. I cook the chicken w/o it at first, then add the sauce, cook, rotate chicken and add sauce on other side of chicken. BUT the sauce (store bought) slides right off the chicken all the time because it is thin. I haven't found a good thick sauce you can buy. Is there anything you can add to BBQ sauce to thicken it and keep it from "running" off the food?

I am that way, I start with the potatoes first, then the meat, last the veggies. I think it has to do with the way things cool off. I do not like cold potatoes, second meat, veggies are not a big deal if they are cold. they taste ok if I have to re-heat them.

I made one last night that had fresh cut up pears in it and figs with onion and red papper slices, mised with baby spinach. I poured a vinagriette on it made from champagne vinegar and olive oil... It was good but I want to make something different..should I have added some goat cheese to the salad? If you have any good green salad recipes can you share them with me?
