I've always gravitated to the tomboy type. Independent and outdoorsy. The side effect is they are always vying for the upper hand, never want to be team players, are more selfish than any guy.

Now thinking back, the few girlie girls I dated hold the fondest memories. They were nice people, careing and supporive.

Should I give up looking for the independent and competent strong partner and opt for the more submissive and supportive girlie girl?

Hey. Ok, let's say you got mad at a guy you know and you were being a real b*tch to him for a good couple days. Don't you think they would have been like forget you? What does it mean when they WON'T stop trying to talk to you or get your attention when they know your mad at them, and your being really mean to them. Why would they keep trying? i asked this guy i thought i liked to a dance, but during the dance, i realized that i didnt' have any feelings for this guy other than just liking him as a friend. But during the dance, he kept hinting how it would be fun to go together to prom. Even though i like him as a friend, i honestly dont want to go to prom with him b/c he has a tendency to make things awkward... and uncomfortable. If he does ask me to prom, how do i let him know that i had fun at the last dance, but dont want to go to prom with him? and not make him feel i dont want to be his friend? the guy is the more shy type and easily gets his feelings hurt so im scared to tell him..
