Yes I have written a letter and given it to a guy. If you are writing it to see if he feels the same way, be prepared that he doesn't feel the same way, and you may need to back off or break up. Tune into what messages he is sending you about how he feels about you. You might be getting signals that he doesn't like you as much as you like him that you should be paying attention to. The other side is that you may both like each other a lot and are ready to take it to another level. His response should be obvious if that's the case. Go for it...be honest with him and yourself.

I cannot count the number of letters I've written to guys. I've never given them, though. I have talked to some guys about my feelings, but they always rejected me. Then again, we were young and concerned with things completely unrelated to the heart. But recently, I met a guy online and then in person and I wrote him an email that I DID send. He didn't reject me. He wrote me back and we've both promised each other that next time we see each other we'll be "together". Right now, we're too far apart for a relationship to work and we won't see each other for over a year. But things will work out because he is the first thing I've been sure about in my whole life. I love him with everything that I am.

Yes, I have, and more than once. How he reacted when I gave it depended totally on how he really felt about me, and the tone of my letter. If it was someone I had a crush on he tended to dismiss it and avoid me which broke my heart; if it was someone I was close friends with or we had a real relationship beginning then it often told him things that he as a guy just never recognized. It ended at least one close relationship as I wanted more than he was willing or able to give. With one guy we ended up dating but after we broke up though I wanted any letters I wrote back bec. they 'revealed' me, and most guys do not treasure letters the way a woman does.
I am not saying you should not do it, but think of it this way first...will he share it with his buds, and has he showed any interest in me yet?

My personal opinion is leave no evidence. That is why I wrote this guy a note telling him I liked him. I let him read it and then when he was done I asked for the note back. No one is going to blackmail me in the future! He was cool about it. We talked things out and he was ok with giving me the note back.

Yes, I have and I even told him, too!!! He reacted pressured, and told me that he only see and love me as a friend.
So that's why up, to this day, I regretted it!!! I will take everything back, because is humiliating, embarrassing, and still you will feel for him!!!
So NO!!! Please don't tell him, that you like him, or feel anything for him!!! If you are NOT absolutely sure.

yes I did and he reacted fine but he was leaving so there was no chance for us but before i wrote the letter we were friends and i knew he liked me but it was still a risk.

I did, and he never forgave me and married someone else.

yes i have and he said that i am saying stupid things but that was after we broke up....lol...he got MAD!!!
