Singles & Dating - 23 February 2007

I was friends with this person, not anymore because he seems to be critisize everything about me. We're both kind of young and im way ahead of him financially. I bought a BMW. This guy tells me cool car. Then behind my back hes telling everyone im a piece of crap and how could I have ever afforded it. Keep in mind this guy dosent drive and cant afford any car. He even went as far as going on a car site we frequent and telling everyone the new BMW I drive is a piece of **** and driven by low lives. He seems to have developed an obsession with this car and me. Its beautiful car and im very happy with it and people mention it a lot in this forum i frequent and whenever it comes up he makes a bad comment like you shouldnt be proud to drive one of those, i wouldnt be telling people. It seems no matter what i buy or any quality about me he slams. If its not my car, its my house, my life, my personality, nothing is off limits. Yet the guy has nothing. Why does he do this?

Yea I know i'm young and I have my whole life ahead of me. Im just looking for more. Im tired of the young immature boys in school that dont care about their future. I want to be with someone who has a future ahead of them. Right now I'm pretty busy with work and school so it's hard for me to do alot. I love to travel and am willing to go the distance. well I must admitt I do have self-esteem problems, however when it comes to talking to girls I like, it comes rather easy. anywayz girls are starting to confuse me. there is a girl at my job, who kept looking at me and smiling; and I thought she was pretty cute. so I develop a crush for her. I finally work up the courage to tell her how I feel. and she tells me that she likes someone esle. I was crushed for a few days. I kept wondering why she would even pretend to like me when she doesnt. so a week agos bye ,and friend of mine sees her, they talk for a minute and he tells me that she says she misses me and how much she cares for me. I have a huge crush on a guy that I've known for a couple of years, but have just recently become better friends with. And I can't read him at all! he agreed to escort me to my birthday party when apparently that's not something he would typically do.
i know there's this theory that if a guy likes you, he'll act like he doesn't, or he'll be mean to you. well this guy can be "mean" or jokingly mean to everyone else but is a lot nicer to me. how would that theory work in this case??

How would you know if a girl at work fancied you???

GIRL 1:

When she walks past-she lowers her head as she passes me,other times she smiles and we make eye contact.When her friends walk past-they look at me+smile.Then they suddenly start talking again as soon as they pass me!!!The same happens during lunch.I sent her a valentine card and my mate said that her friends were talking about it. I ran into my ex over the weekend. I gave him a hug and told him it's nice to see him. While I was talking to my friends I noticed him checking me out. Everytime I run into him I notice him checking me out. I know he doesn't want to get back together, so why does he look?? I feeel if you are over me then don't be checking me out.
