well I must admitt I do have self-esteem problems, however when it comes to talking to girls I like, it comes rather easy. anywayz girls are starting to confuse me. there is a girl at my job, who kept looking at me and smiling; and I thought she was pretty cute. so I develop a crush for her. I finally work up the courage to tell her how I feel. and she tells me that she likes someone esle. I was crushed for a few days. I kept wondering why she would even pretend to like me when she doesnt. so a week agos bye ,and friend of mine sees her, they talk for a minute and he tells me that she says she misses me and how much she cares for me. I just dont get it. does she like me or not? and if she does why didn't she tell me? did i wait to long to tell her how I feel? CAN SOMEONE SHEAD SOME LIGHT ON THE SITUATION FOR ME!! THANKS FOR READING

She likes you but only as a friend. Girls find it easy to be touchy feely and playful with people that they cherish as a friend. Her actions just don't shout that she had a crush on you. It just sounds like she really deeply likes and cares for you on a friendship level which is why when you went MIA after asking her out, she stated to your freind that she missed you. She probably really does miss you but in a platonic sense. For future encounters, when a girl smiles at you and randomly looks at you it isn't a guarantee that she likes you. However, if she does those things and starts adding bits of conversation in with it and touching you playfully, etc.....then she does. Just be the girls friend. Who knows, eventually she may see you as more than just a bud. Good luck

Ever heard about the excitement of "the chase"? Guys aren't the only ones who feel this way. She likes your company, but when faced with exclusivity, runs away. You probably deserve better. Good luck!

She cares about you, but she isn't attracted to you. She misses your friendship at work, but she isn't interested in a relationship. She can care about you as a friend, but not like you like that.

i think she was playing hard to get and now that you aren't caring she wants you even more. i'd bring up what she said to your friend and see what she says, if she admits it then ask her out again if she denys it she just wants the attention and she's not worth your time or energy.

Sounds like she's just trying to keep her options open!

Why bother? Why would you want to be with someone who can't make up their mind.
