It all depends on how you look at the situation. In many ways yes. It's cheaper, you only have to worry about yourself. If you have bad habits they aren't a problem like they could be with a mate. However, some people are just not capable of being single or at least they think they aren't. I definately see some advantages to it being as I have been single for a while, but I do want and look for the person that can change that.

In a way yes. You are not tied up with anyone, you are free to browse the scene for a hottie without feeling guilty. You don't have to explain yourself to no one as in where have you been, who was that you were tallking to and so on. Still there is a down side. Single is good, but for how long.

Sometimes hun. Because when your with someone you get alot of comforting and that sweet feeling of knowing they actually love you back. But then again, no matter how awesome prince charming is..theres always some sorta battle to fight with them. It hurts to have to worry about what they do because no matter how much of a "G" you are, if you love someone you WILL worry about them when they're not acting "the same". Only if your getting some...being single is heaven when you stay active and keep your weekends full...the second you have a friday night where you either strike out or no one calls and its just you and the TV changer then SINGLE SUCKS!!! but if you keep having dates there is nothing better than being single

prior to bein single i havent been single for about 5 year
i enjoy not answering to someone and all the bull sh it

Yes it does because then you can do whatever you want without worrying about yo're boyfriend finding out or anything and if you strive for a boyfriend but don't really want one then there is always friends with benefits.

Yes, it really does. Singlehood allows you to be truly autonomous and focused on your individual fulfillment. Dating is a pointless distraction from the important things.

Sometimes I think to myself it's just less complicated being single. You have your independance, and are more free to do as you wish.
