so...we went out bout year ago...and he cheated on me...thn wen he asked me out and i sed no he went with my couin to get bak at me...then couple of months later i still liked him and went back out wid him...we went out 4 bout 4 months then last week he got in 2 my cousin while drunk in a night club and finished me...now hes askin again what shud i do!?? soz bout spellin im in a hurry!!!!

I have a colleague who I get on really well with and I am now at the point where I would love to get to know him better... away from work, go out for a drink and chat. He is friendly and smiles, waves and stops to chat, but as we work together (and he is a manager) I don't know if he's just being nice or if there is actually something more there. Today, he actually apologised for not being able to stop and talk after he had come to my office to give me something I was waiting for. I wasn't even expecting to. He looks at me as though he's thinking I want him to invite me out, but I don't know if he will... i wouldn't mind asking him, but am a little afraid in case i'm reading the signs wrong. What do you think?

I am just a lonely guy. I've tried the speed dating, the online and people just do it for entertainmnet purposes or research on dating for a psych class. I like going to the Museum of Modern Art, Broadway Shows, Central Park, Upstate NY the parks the lake, I own two dogs, I have a BA in Social work and working on another in Human Services. I have a Casac-T and will have a new job as a Substance Abuse Counselor. I don't have that tough guy attitude, I'm into classical music till the 70's I also write and keep busy. I am not ripped but do take care of myself. I'm tired of just being alone. I've never had a GF and don't want but would like one. Someone to go to sleep next to and wake up to. Someone who is there for me and vice versa. Someone who knows who she is and what she wants. True.com Yahoo Personals, Eharmony, all those online and off line sites do not take dating seriously. So what now? Do I keep trying or just accept the fact and give up?

I've known my boyfriend for three years. We've been infatuated with each other since. Under certain circumstances we did not finally tell each other how we felt until he left for basic training in the army this summer. Since then things have grown greatly between us. when he came back this Christmas we became official and things between us were amazing. I know he is truely in love with me and I for the first time told a boy that I loved him. Things are so intense between us. The more time goes on, I think that I do want this person in my life for forever. But I am only 18 and this thought kind of scares me. But I feel, that I have found the perfect guy in so many ways and I would do anything for me and he would do anything for me. Am I too young to think about wanting to spend the rest of my life with him, maybe even marrying him in the future? Would it be weird to bring it up to him? He has told me many times, that he is mine for forever. So I know I have him.

I got a guy I've been casually dating for about a month a Valentine's Day gift? We live in two different cities and it's about a six hour drive. He calls a lot and we've spent two weekends together and I am going to see him on the 23rd. For the most part my guy and I have a really decent relationship. However we really knock heads on this one.... When I ask for something from him, he makes me feel as though if things arent done my way, then they arent good enough. For example... when he tells me he loves me he rarely looks at me, if there is any affection between us its because I initiate it,. I will get up earlier than him just to start the car for him just so it will be warmed up for his ride to work, instead of saying thank you, he tells me i shouldnt do that. These are just a few examples that leave me very confused, yet when I ask he says that he does love me he but because he doesnt show it like I do, he feels as though I dont believe him. There are times that I'm just left wondering how he really feels, because unless I ask, he doesnt go out of his way to make me feel special or loved, atleast not in a way that is obvious to me. So I guess my question is..How can I fix this without him going on the defense?

My boyfriend apparently never really does the whole valentines thing. What can i suggest we do that would be special, but not OTT. Of course i'd love to be swept of my feet but that clearly isn't going to happen, lol - unless he's playing dumb and planning something. but if we end up doing nothing i'll b a little angry

My sister met someone through Yahoo Personals.

She became very involved with this person and fell in love. (Supposedly) He asked to borrow $2000 from her and at a weak moment, she gave it to him. (What the hell was she thinking)

Anyway, he keeps saying that he will pay her. The date keeps getting pushed farther and farther ahead. He has asked for her account number several times so that he could supposedly have his bank transfer it over to her bank.

Also, he wanted her to come to his house (it's quite a drive for her) to come and get her money, but he wanted her to come at night around 10:00. He lives in a very bad part of town.

Believe me, she regrets every bit of loaning him anything.

Any suggestions on this?
