i'v really liked her for the past 5 years but never said any thing. recently ive been sliping her love poems and i think she might know its me but i dont think she really likes me what should i do im always thinking about her i'm falling apart

We've had mutual friends & have always had class together (same major).
This makes it even harder to get to know him b/c he already KNOWS I like him and I'm shy. I'm ALWAYS embarassed around him b/c of this but sometimes I've gotten the idea that he reciprocates b/c: he's sat next to me in class, has tried to ask me a q. in class (he's really smart and knows what's going on, so...), he looks at me sometimes and kind of smiles, lingered once and pretended to read something in the hall when I was talking to a friend just so he could eavesdrop, & the instant we were done talking, he looked embarassed & walked in the opp. direction so I wouldn't bump into him, etc., etc.
I can't type all ex.'s but it's been 2 yrs! If he liked me, wouldn't he have done something? Maybe he's tried but I never let him get beyond "hi" (again, shyness). Then again, maybe he just likes the attention?
If he has ever liked me but just gave up, how can I get to know him w/o looking desperate? Please HELP!

she has for me.It seems like she dose'nt realy have allot of respect because of the way she does things.She is a new girlfriend and I dont know women are so funny she may be playing one of those games but I don't want to be a sucker.It seems the nicer I am the more they want take advantage and treat me like crap.

Dennis is 20, works at Home Depot, attending Junior College for two yrs in Admin of Justice but then dropped out. He may return soon; no degree (yet). He's an introverted guy until he really really gets to know someone after several months, and then he becomes quite goofy. He's very honest and dependable. He doesn't drink or go to clubs. He mostly works and stays home...when he does go out he takes the bus...doesnt have his license yet.

John is 22, he currently attends Junior College with major of Liberal Arts. He drinks socially, enjoys going out to dinner with friends, he's very funny and outgoing as long as at least one friend is with him. He can be a little shy at first with new people. He doesn't drive either but only because he had a seizure a few yrs. ago; he is currently in the process of getting his license too.

Okay so about 5 months ago my bestfriend cheated on her boyfriend "Zale" with her ex "Tom". Zale and her broke up and since then me and Zale became really close friends. Recently he told me he liked me and I like him, but my friend seems to think that i shouldnt go out with him because he is her ex and were best friends. The thing is after she cheated on Zale her and Tom got back together and have been together since then. If she doesnt like Zale anymore and has moved on.. What is so wrong about me and Zale hooking up?!

My sister came back from Vegas and I asked if she wants me to go out and buy her and her friend food...I walk up and see her and her guy friend....really quiet sensitive guy and they were having it in clear view but they didn't see me...I was in shock but didn't say anything and walked back downstairs...should I say something? What would you do?

I know its none of my business but I just am in shock a bit and didn't know they were together...plus me and my sister are close...so...what do you think? should I tell her?

My ex and I have been on and off since last June. I adore him and the best of times and loath him at the worst. Sadly we live in different cities and will until I move in May. We haven't used the terms gf/bf in months yet we keep up all the naughty stuff and talk everyday. All of this is starting to bug me because I am begining to feel lonely for commitment. So what do I do. I don't want this to end but I am also tired of always walking on glass. Anyone been in a situation similar or have suggestions?

Anytime I've ever cared for a guy, it's turned out that they haven't felt the same way... I'm a really passionate person, and of course, I get hurt big time... Love takes over my emotions, and makes me act in ways that I normally wouldn't.
I don't want to experience that ever again. I'd much rather be alone than heartbroken. I don't want my one-sided feelings to mess up my life anymore.

How can I prevent myself from ever falling in love (or even like) again?

I'm so scared of caring for anyone else, and I just don't have it in me to feel this kind of pain, anymore.

Okay, so this guy licks my hand, kisses my hand, comes to my house and we go in my room, he tackles me onto my bed and it looks like yea.........., i go in his room, he teases me, he called me cute, he told my mom if i ever had a boyfriend he'd have to check how he treats me first and if he doesn't treat me well enough he'll kick his butt. Which i think he thinks the only person who will treat me right is him. I can kinda read minds in a way. His friends always stare at me, than i look at them and they look down. I think he likes me, but i keep second guessing myself. So just to make sure, i came to here. Than, I'm thinking about asking him if he likes me, but what if he says he doesn't like than i'd cry myself to sleep. I want to ask him this tuesday. So yea. Does he like me??
