Of course tell her so that you do not have this same experience again. She's your sister gotta love her.

No, it's none of your business really. If she wanted to confess that she was experiencing sexual intimacy you would have been the first to tell, but she didn't. I wouldn't take it personally. Even if the relationship bewteen two people is close it doesn't ever mean there will not be things about the person you don't know. A close relationship doesn't warrant one or both of the individuals involved to disclose every single thing happening in their lives. I am certain your sister has her reasons for not telling you.
And could there be some very personal things you are experiencing that you have not elected to share with your sister.?
If the answer is yes or no---it was within your right to disclose the information or keep it to yourself. Neither answer is a wrong answer.

If I were you, I'd find a way to ask her subtley. You know, get into a conversation with her, move it to guys and boyfriends, then bring up that particular point... Don't just outright say "Hey sis, I saw you and Joe Whathisface doing the nasty the other day."

it was embarrassing wasn't it? i walked in and saw my son and his girlfriend..uh...right in the middle of it. (know what i mean?)
they had just left the room, i don't know how they got undressed that fast, i was about ready to take a christmas picture i had actually stuck the camera in the door before i walked in.
we laughed about it later but i was soooooooo embarrassed.
my best advice is to make quite a bit of noise before you enter a room where they are.

You don't have to tell her but your conscious will soon catch up with you so it's better if you tell her now. Don't wait too long.
