this past week i noticed this cute freshman we see each other in the hallways a couple times per day but every time iwant to try and talk to her she with some friends. is it okay to still try and talk to her? or would that be weird? what should isay? weve looked at each other a few times... and ithink she notices me, how do i approach? this isnt like me by the way, its never been this difficult for me. tips greatly appreciated

I am interested in a guy from work and I asked him if he would like to hang out on friday.He refused and said his bro is going to be in town.I was also supposed to go to his church group with someone else, but since she wasn't in town, he offered to take me, but I refused.The next day he emailed me and asked if I was up for lunch.I refused beause I had a meeting, and gave another time and date.He accepted and we went out.During lunch he asked me if I was still talking to my ex, what is my fav movie, and other general conversation.He paid for the lunch. We both had a good time and his bro is really coming to visit him for the weekend.So should I assume he likes me?And what should I do next?Should I ask him out or wait for him to ask me for our 'real' first date. I have been in an emotionally abusive relationship. I am fool still, I yet like her. I don't even know what I am attracted to. I worry she will find better than me. We are broken up but I still have feelings and crap. She just seems so cool when we are alone but with a whole bunch of people and mainly her friends it is a totally different person. I met this girl who got transfered to my school like in 2005.I became one of her first few firends.I fell in love with her form the day i saw her.After school we used to hang around with each other and chill around and all that stuff. But after like 5 months i had to leave skool bcaz my mother got sick and i had to go meet her after like 3 months i came back but she reacted different then before.She treid ignoring me . only gets worse and worse. She's seeing another guy and I try to talk to her as little as possible, but I never feel any better. well he talkes to me and sits by me in 1 class thats it. so then he always follows me around during lunch and i see him looking at me before school and i asked his best friend to ask him if he likes me and he said he said he wont tell!
