I moved to a new state to start a new life but I can't seem to do that because all I see is my old life. I'm not sure getting back with her would be right but this new life isn't working either, what can I do?

like all breakups, you just need time. it is your best friend and worst enemy, because as time goes on you will feel better but you have to wait for time to pass. sometimes thats the worst part. but take comfort in knowing that your not alone feeling like this.

Remember why you left her and remember what you wanted to change in your life. You need at least a couple of years to give your new life a chance. If you and your x didn't make it before you most likely won't make it trying again. Get out there and make real changes in your life, you only have this one chance, try to make it a good one. Get involved with any good local organizations so that you can meet people, you sound lonely. To change ones life one must be willing to change. Your life is in your hands, what do you want?
