Given any special circumstances....drunk, horny, had a bad week? Are men so insecure that a woman is disrespectable b/c she looses one night? Do women feel that the only way to become respected is to wait about how many more dates?

I just have not grasped why a person is NO longer respectable b/c they give it up on the first night. I understand it's not the "respectable" thing to do, but aren't women appreciated for more than their @$#%#%? We have other respectable things about us. And for those of you women who feel that you aren't worth it after giving it up, you must not have too much else to offer.

Some men can and some cannot respect a woman who is sexually liberated. First night or thirteenth night is not the issue. It is more an issue of do you or don't you have sex outside of marriage or whatever is accepted as equivalent.
It is your sexuality which is the issue and not your male partners insecurities. Do you respect yourself? If the answer is yes then you have no problem doing whatever you like, if the answer is no, don't do whatever it is that would make you loose respect.
Individuals have sexual freedom which they may choose to give up when they get married or enter a long term relationship (they may not but that is a separate question). If your decision is to remain celibate until marriage it is a good decision. If your decision is not to remain celibate it is also a good decision. The important thing is to actually make the decision rather than blindly accept what everybody else tells you.
When you do decide to marry you are only going to be comfortable with someone who has a similar opinion so I think all of the people who come down on one side of the fence or the other have already made up their minds and decided that their decision is the only right one for everybody. Only you can decide what is right for you.

Why merely the female's value and self know? i think of the respond is that the two could have a greater good time respecting the different, even with the undeniable fact that it is not impossible and it relies upon on the circumstances. In my case, this befell to me 11 years in the past with a woman. i've got under no circumstances spent the night with all of us else on condition that and we've been married for 10 years. I comprehend it is an unlikely difficulty, yet in a roundabout way it worked.

Hell no, you won't be respected. He'll think you're a wh*re sweety. Once the rumors start spreading or the truth amongst the men, and believe you me it does, you will wish you had watched a sad movie, masturbated, binged on sweets, or had a hot soak. you should wait over 6 months before having sex to a little under a year, but that doesn't mean the guy will never leave. Guys like to initiate sex, don't be another silly girl and make those kinds of mistakes.

Anyone who is so desperate, whatever the excuses may be, to sleep with someone on the first night is someone who I am thankful to God isn't my son or daughter. Or my future wife for that matter.

Not particularily. Some men are a bit more... lenient in thier view of what constitutes a slut, others... aren't. Your best bet, do NOT do it. Better to respect yourself for not giving up the goods, then giving them up, and losing a part of yourself over a stupid mistake.

i personally think..
a woman doesnt respect herself if she gives it up the first date.
so why should the man respect her back?
a woman should be respected, if she respects herself.
you'll be lucky to even find a guy, that will respect you after a one night stand..

If you want to be respected, don't do it. Most guys don't like thinking about their girl's past lovers. If you have sex too early, then he'll wonder if you do that will all the guys you date. Guys like sluts but they don't want their future wife to be one.
