Singles & Dating - 8 December 2006

My boyfriend of less then a month said hes getting me a christmas present. I want to do something romantic for him, but not too romantic, cause I dont really know what he likes. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I am only in my 30's and no kids...separated...going trough a divorce...I bought a puppy recently to cheer me up...I took her home she wouldn't eat ...took her back to petstore they said she is just depressed and to force feed her for couople of days... 2 days later she wouldn't walk... I took her to the vet.... I had to leave her there they said she was very week (8weeks old puppy Yorkie) Next day they called me that she wasn't doing very good they ran all these tests but nothing... I decided to go and visit her,,, I took her toy with me....She was hooked on iv and was unconscious.. I started petting her for quite a while she would cry to me... After I left 30 minutes later the vet called that she passed away. I had a puppy who cheered me up for 4 days ,,,she died...I think I am cursed...How can I get out of this shethole...Besides I am seeing a married man who has kids....Should I kill myself???

For the past couple of months I had been "dating" this guy. I put dating in quotes because last week I found out he has a girlfriend so I ended everything with him (yea smart me, I guess). I even told him not to try to contact me, at least for a few days, because I was so hurt. I told him I am not able to be friends with him bc I want more too.

Tuesday he contacted me and asked me could I talk to him again and yesterday he told me he still has feelings for me. Up until Tuesday I was doing good, I missed him a little and thoughts of him didn't consume my mind. Now I want him back more than I ever did before. I won't contact him but I want to just to tell him how much I miss him.

Besides how he lied to me, I thought he was a great guy. I care about him dearly and loved the way (besides the lie) he treated me. I never obsessed over him when "I had him" but now that he is taken I am obsessing over him. Help

theres this dude that i like his always in the library at lunch reading, yesterday he was in there doing work but we were tapping on the window to get his attention but he doesnt even look at us he totally ingores us and so we tapped really hard and they moved him to the other side of the library i guess he got in trouble... today i thought he wouldnt be sitting in the same seat because he got in trouble but he did... so we tapped again slowly but he payed no attention he was smiling while reading and then me and my friends put I LOVE YOU on this paper and put it in the window and he still didnt look up my friend said he did for a bit but i didnt see him lol and then we went in the library and i we were talking loud so he heard us say how i love him and i cant tell him how much i love him because i start shaking he smiled and then lunch was over and he left... does he like me?
i dont think so i am very hurt...
btw he doesnt have friends i always see him alone maybe his shy?

A girl Called my phone and said she Thought my boyfriend was talking to her cousin. We called my boyfriend on threeway . He didn't know I was on the phone. She asked him,"Do you want to be with my cousin as a friend or to be with her?" He said he wanted to be with her. Right After we got off the phone he called me. I played it off. he is my boss we come together to office bus. we chat a lot. he tells me about his good friends his family and his likes and dislikes. Shares his problem with me. if i donot talk to him he will call and ask me let us go for walk. but has never talked about loving me. when i ask him whether u love somebody he say who will love a person like him. now i am on project in diff city. first week he didnot contact. but next day he sms me that he called my hotel but was engaged. asks me if i have time to chat or can we talk on phone. i asked him whether he likes some body else he swears no. Since i am away and he still wants to talk to me without any work. He is concerned about me. when we talk he asks me how i am. what things i m planning in new city. keeps me informed about all his personal outings. I go to this strip club from time to time and a couple of the dancers are really friendly with me even though I never get dances from them.

A guy asked me out on a first date. We have hung out prior, but this was a DATE. We live about 70 miles apart, so we met halfway after work during the week. We go to dinner, the check is given, after a long pause, I pick up the check, and then he offers to pay. I agree but say I'll pay for the movie. As I'm paying for the movie, he buys himself a soda. I then go buy myself one. After the movie, he wants to go bowling. The roads are getting quite slick, and I don't want to drive in it when it's worse. He persuades me until bowling, but I only agree to 1 or 2 games. We get to the bowling alley, he asks for 3 games. When they ask for the money, he doesn;t do a thing. After I pay for it and we get our shoes on, he then says thanks. I don't believe in the man paying for everything. I am 22, have a great job and live on my own. He's older, is an engineer, and lives with his mom. Is it right that I payed for the majority of the date, when he asked me? Am I wrong??
