The relationship has been a little over 3 years. The last time they spoke was 1 1/2 weeks ago & argued about the relationship not progressing like she wanted it to be. He said to stop pressuring him & hasn't answered her calls since.

Well it sounds like he definetely wants some space. Tell her to stop calling him and see what happens. If he doesn't even bother calling her back then drop the guy - I mean after 3 years he just stops answering her calls - not very considerate.

* I gather the "her" is you. I think that your bf is taking the cowardly way of breaking up or taking space. He needs to be honest with you and by saying stop pressuring him is not all he needs to say. He and you need to figure out if this relationship is going anywhere and by your age - I don't blame you for asking about the relationship and after 3 years he should EXPECT it! How old is he by the way?

he start to behave, different toward you ,start finding a lot faults with you every thing you do, touch, say ask everything is a problem until he finally come around to tell you that he does not think it is working,he is not happy these last days, and for things to get better he tell you time apart is the perfect answer, start then to live your life without him because that the end line .

Not answering her calls is definitely one way, though he should be a man and just say it. Sounds like he's not going to. The girl should stop calling him, consider it to be over, and preserve her diginity.

He feels pressured and you are still young. Back off. Give him time to think.

Sounds like he has something else in the works relationship wise and he wants to be sure it works before he ends the current relation.
He needs to be honest with himself first!

There must be at lest 50 ways to leave your lover.

He's not going to tell you which one he's using.

I guess that' the way he breaks up with a girl. But the right way to do it is to tell her to her face that he thinks we should not see each other anymore and tell her why.

i think this guy is on the right path. he should remain consistant so that she gets the picture. if he does give in to accepting one of her phone calls, he should absolutely keep it real with her and let his feelings be known. i thank my boyfriend for keeping things real with me because i wouldnt have ever let him go if he hadnt. its ok for him to move on if thats what he wants. no one deserves to be pressured into things they dont want. it could be disastrous.
