Singles & Dating - 9 October 2006

I've recently moved to this area, and I like this guy I'm playing music with, and I'm pretty sure he likes me, too, but I have unknowingly maneuvered myself into a position that is making me uncomfortable. We are really attracted to each other--this much I know, but things are unspoken and haven't really taken off because he has a girlfriend he has never mentioned, and because I was too distracted getting settled here to keep my eyes out. I picked up on enough signals, though, that I was prompted to do my research, and I recently went to a concert when I was able to see him holding hands with her. Problem is, we have also become good friends and are dealing with all of the rudimenary problems of a beginning relationship as a metaphor to the musical relationship. I want to scream sometimes, it is so insane!! How do I start to break down the wall and get some resolution on this without ruining out very solid musical relationship and without arguing???

when u like a girl do u like her forever or do u just stop liking her all of a sudden. See this guy and i were really good friends and he gave me his # and we talked alot but now he works alot so i dont get a chance to call him and we've lost touch..so if we dont talk like we use to does that mean he doesnt like me. Or does he like me, bc on the phone he said that he was only shy around girls he likes is he being shy?

Ladies don't immediately say no. Think about this. The way I look at females...they want what they can't have (or really have to work for). So I've decided that I make myself more attractive to girls by doing less (kinda). Girls: by talking to you once or twice a day, is your interest not sparked? By talking to 10 girls once or twice a day, is your drive to go after me not enflamed?

Note: I am a senior in high school. Girls like me. But, none of them seem to be interested in a relationship (and the ones that do, have boyfriends ironically). This is why I'm asking the question. Is my strategy only good for hookups? Is it good for nothing? Will it pay off in the long run (sometime this year)?

there was only one thing I asked my girl to never do to me, and that was lie. I don't care how bad the truth was, I'll get over it. Just don't LIE!!! We have been dating for two years now. I heard her phone ring at 3 am like three months ago, so I looked to see who it was. It was some dude named don! I was pissed! She said that he was an old friend and had a question about his girl. I asked her to have him stop calling, especially at 3 am. She agreed. Two days ago I saw that she was talking to him on myspace. Nothing sexual, but still. I confronted her about it and it turns out they used to date. She lied before and said they didn't. I don't know what to believe now because I caught her in a lie. What should I do? i call him, we talk for hours, then he says he gonna call back and he never does. That makes me so mad. So i just go out. When i check the called ID when i get home, his number isnt on at all. This summer I cheated on my bf and then we brokeup. I don't feel heartbroken and I don't know why. Do u think God is trying to tell me something b/c the guy I cheated on my bf with never comes outside at 6:30 a.m. And I never see him.
