Ok here is the situation...I have been haning with this girl for a while and just recently she opened up out of no where and said that she had been a victim of rape. What would be the best way to handle a situation like this.

In the past I was burned really badly and left in finical ruins. It’s been over a year and finally I have made it to a nice path where I am independent. Now I have found someone to date. I don’t want another heart-break on my list. I have had a hard time finding a decent guy due to the fact I want someone to see me more then as I look. I know I can attract men, however the past I attracted the wrong type.

For the current dating rules applied I don’t want to rush into anything that drive a man away. Even though were going on the third ‘date’ would that be too soon for sex to be introduced into the equation? However we do connect well, he seems to want to spend time with me and it’s apparent he hates when I end our time together. We talked several times before meeting as well, mostly on my part I’m cautious. That my twin (who's male) thinks he is an over all good guy and good friend to him and aproves him. Would the third date rule cause a guy to disappear? I just hate to get burned.

Why is it that nowadays so many couples live together for years and may even have children, but have no plans to get married?

I'm planning to meet someone whom I've chatted to on the internet... I want to buy her a gift or do something for her that is a little bit romantic... BUT what if you met over the internet?? Would you say getting to know someone for who they are & falling in love b4 you see them is sometimes better than seeing them first & falling in love w/ their appearence, later to find out they are ugly inside?

A while ago i started talking to my friends, friend on the internet, he asked for a number and i wasn't sure it was a good idea to give him my number, as we had only spoke a few times. As a result i gave him my number but changed one of the digits so it could be seen as accidental. Today we were talking again and he gave me his number, i feel a bit mean but i wasnt ready to swap numbers at the time and still am not 100% sure i want to. Is this really wrong and mean?

Sorry if you just read this, but I need lots of help on this.

I know what we have is real. She is caught up in some weird spot because of some baggage she has got from past relationships and I'm sure I've got some, too. I know I need to just chill and let things happen but it's so frikkin hard 'cause she shies away everytime we start to get close and has started working a lot. Everytime I am with her I have no doubts about us and want her to feel the same way but know she has to come to that herself. Any advice on keeping myself occupied while she sorts out whatever she needs to? I want her to know I still want her without burying her or ignoring her.

my gf is 5 months pregnant with twins

Okay, I have a fairly realistic expectation that men don't notice little things. I'm generally okay with it. I'm not going to expect nail polish colors or silly things.
However, he doesn't notice when I cut my hair or wear a dress, and doll myself up. We live together. I'm not all that girly. So when I do alter my appearence, to me it's a big thing. I wear makeup and all that, I just rarely dress up. Catch me? Is it wrong for me to get offended if he doesn't notice things? It doesn't even have to be complimentary, just "oh, you cut your hair today" ya know? I guess they are silly little things.

have never slept with any of their friends or anyone else during our relationship of 2 years. I didn't even accuse them of this. Why would they say this...when I just said it hurt me that they let those people grope them in the bar. There is this guy that I like and yes, he knows I exist, I have this huge crush on him. And he has told me that I have pretty eyes. Today I sat next to him on the bus, and i was happy. Then he put his arm around me. I was going to ask him if he was going to Homecoming, and he said he may. He's really friendly with people, and maybe he was joking about me having pretty eyes. Today I was wearing my glasses, not my contacts, and he asked me if my eyes were naturally green because you know how contacts can come in different colors, so i said that my eyes were naturally green annd he said cool.
