Im thinking of getting engaged soon. When someone says you should buy a ring that you can afford. What does "afford" actually mean? Does afford mean if you have the amount in the bank that you want to spend on the ring and you dont have to finance it?

I've never been involved with a single mom before (actually she is divorced and her ex has the kids sometimes) and she has 2 kids... her son is 5 and daughter is 3. It's starting to get serious. So far she and I have spent some dates just the 2 of us, and sometimes we'd go hiking, to the library, or to chuck e cheese with the kids... just fun stuff mostly. I like her kids a lot and she and I are really clicking. What changes should I expect and prepare for as things get more serious? What is an appropriate role for me as far as the kids are concerned as things get more serious?

so i been going out with this guy for 3 years when we met i asked him about his past girlfriends he told me about one for some reason i could never let that past relationship go and i always asked him questions about it .they broke up like 6 years ago.2 nights ago he gets a voicemail from her .the messages says hi its me ... im calling you because i need directions to the job because i have no idea how to get there .he says he doesnt know how she got the number i call her she says she got it from her brother and begins to tell me that she hasnt spoken to him in 6 years and was callin to see how he was doing .i dont believe it .she calls me today and begins to tell me that he use to stalk her and she was his first and that they where engaged for 8 months .he says this is bull and that she is crazy .he changed his number and his mad that i dont believe him .i dont think a person that you havent spoken to in 6 years would leave a message like that .what should i do ?

My brother who was using this account killed himself because his wife divorced him which he knew for all his life. they know each other since kindergarten (our parents were friends). I am really sad. Is there any way for me to feel better? I really miss my brother. I wish I could have prevented him from suicide.

I promis i am not the crazy ex-girlfriend 2 start off

My Boyfriend ended things with me on Friday, I called him told him to come over to talk cause he hadn't returned my calls for about 4 days and I was going to end things if he was going to cont. 2 stress me out.

He told me he though we should break up because he said I was right in the beginning that we just got to college and shouldn't have jumped into a relationship and it had gotten so serious so fast it scared him (7 weeks) (not 2 serious)

anywayz his away message today said:
"You don't really know what you had till it's gone"

I kissed a boy on his floor the night we broke up kinda as a coping method because i spent about 2 hours crying over him.

I havn't had him on my mind for about the last 2 days cause i am trying to forget.

It is awful though cause inside i really miss him

should i talk 2 him?

Or does he win if i do... I don't want to be the phyco ex girlfriend

Something bad happened to a girl I know. She randomly picked a guy out at this party and kicked him in the nuts for no reason. He carried her and threw her on the marble floor in the kitchen and started punching each of her boobz alternatively as hard as he could and he was a big buff guy too. I always had trouble talking to anyone new excluding those workers (teachers, walmart workers, etc). How do I talk to anyone new in class? I want to get more friends. I have no friends. Okay, I was married for 5 years and he was the only man I had been with but he was very small (penis wise).
