I generally don't have much of a problem talking with women. Breaking the ice can be shaky, but once that's over, I do alright. What I don't understand is when I get their number, they won't call back (and no I don't keep trying and trying, I call 3 times then i'm done) or if they take mine and say that they'll call, they never do. Why can't women be upfront and tell me they aren't interested? Why the games?

I asked out my good friend a yeat ago and she said no. i asked her this 5 days after she got out a very serious relationship an was an emotional mess. she said she wasnt interested in us like that but wanted to be friends. she also said it is too weird for her. What could she have meant by this? She dated my best friend almost 3 years ago. Its been a while since I asked her out. We hang out a lot more now than before I asked her out. Should I talk to her? Should I try kissing her?

I have been with my sweetie for 4 years now. We live together and for the most party are happy. However, he has a hobby that takes up every friday, sat, and sun, from October - February. I dont mind because I enjoy my "me time". Well i asked him recently if he would take me on one last date since i wouldnt have one until probably valentines day, and his response was, "ugh, im broke and im too busy right now". Well the next day he came home with 1000 dollars worth of car parts for his "toy" and then spent the evening working on it. UM last time I checked, dinner and a movie wasnt near that expensinve nor does it take 6 hours. I am very hurt and frustrated. I dont know if its cuz I feel like he loves his "toys" more than me, or that i feel used and unappreciated. I have never put even ME before him and i expect some frikkin appreciation. some concern for my feelings for once would be nice. What do I do? How do I discuss this without sounding like a whiney, needy *****?

Never believed in love before, had the pangs of loneliness, but enjoyed the freedom of being single. I fell for a guy, who seemed different from the rest of them, and had me in by opening up to me with his ex. I have known him to be very reserved, and the confiding in me broke the ice between us. Thereafter, we discovered that we liked each other. In 2004 I moved into a different city with a diff job, so did he, and we live together. The issue is that I find him doing a lot of stuff which for the 2 yrs having been with him, have not known any of it. I do not make pals easily, in the sense that I am wary about opening up to people just like that, and hence see him as my only friend that I can open up to, but his going away with his pals leaves me wondering, especially bec he gv me this picture of being reserved and stuff like me. All in all, I think that I shld take a breather, do u think that i am thinkin in the right direction. As I dont want this relationship to eat me up
