I asked out my good friend a yeat ago and she said no. i asked her this 5 days after she got out a very serious relationship an was an emotional mess. she said she wasnt interested in us like that but wanted to be friends. she also said it is too weird for her. What could she have meant by this? She dated my best friend almost 3 years ago. Its been a while since I asked her out. We hang out a lot more now than before I asked her out. Should I talk to her? Should I try kissing her?

Dude, are you slow or something? What dont you understand?

A) You ask her out 5 DAYS after a serious relationship she has ends. Its called the rebound. She'd only wind up hurting herself and you if she dated you that quick after a serious relationship.

B) She doesnt like you that way. She told you flat out, PERIOD> Theres nothing you can ever do about that. EVER. MOVE ON.

C) She dated your best friend for threee YEARS. For her to date you is just plain wrong. PLUS she knows it would cause a rift between you and your best friend.

D) If you try kissing her, against her wishes, youre going to lose your good friend when she gets upset.

I think she's the smart one. You're not using your head, man.

She means exactly what she said. Why would anyone get into a new relationship when they arent over the 1st one? If would be weird. And if she only sees you as a friend then it would be weird. So she dated your best friend. He probably has different characteristics than you (not saying you are a bad person) that interest her more. Dont sweat it. Move on. Dont try kissing her.

There are several ways to deal with this but the one fact I can provide you with is to not give up or you will regret it forever.

A. Rent a movie to watch with her that has the overall theme that a best friend is the one you should end up with. (indirect method)

B. Just tell here truthfully everything you feel and why you think its the way it should be. (more direct)

Tip: Women do not understand logic, so do not try to give her a logical explanation why, it will aggravate and confuse her.

Then theres the Hollywood Leading Man tactic, get into an awkward position with her, grab her fiercly and lay it on her hard and long (this takes skill and finesse, a large amount of charm and swagger....confidence...- hesitation and lack of grace will kill this maneuver)

If she wasn't interested in you so long ago then I doubt she's interested in you now. Sorry, but you should just be satisfied that she sees you as a friend in the first place. Of course it probably didn't help matters at all that you asked her 5 days out of a serious relationship, that probably harmed your status with her more then anything.

Well if she just got out of a relationship you shouldn't ask her right away, one person I knew that wanted to go out with my best friend came to her aid, game her a necklace and earings, and it was very sweet. You should follow the example. Just talk to her and get to know her more.

I think in her mind she can only see you as a very good friend almost like a brother to her. If I were you I would look somewhere else or you might end up losing her as a friend.

nope nope and nope first of all you asked her to soon girls need time to heel and second of all if she said it would be to weird and that means she thinks of you as a brother not a lover.

you have to wait for her to tell you other wise there is a good chance she will start to have feelings for you if you are sweet always there and make her feel good about herself
good luck dude

Tell her that you want her and that you fell at ease with her. If she says no then tell her that you still want to be her best friend, whatever her decision is. It is basically just saying that you want to get to know her inside out. That you like her and that you like being with her AND that you will always be there for her.

Dude, she's not interested in you. She already told you. How hard is it to understand. No means no. She only wants to be friends with you. Do you want to give up your friendship with her? If not then just be a friend.
