This question is directed mostly at women i guess. In high school in the upper grades meaning junior/senior does it matter if a guy isn't popular but the girl is? Do most girls in this age depend on popularity as a determining factor or not? For instance is it possible or likely for a guy that no body knows his name to go out with a fairly popular hot girl?

I am 21 ,and this guy I like is 23yrs old, he is my Instructor for swimming classes for Saturday. I began to notice that I was Beginning to have feeling for him. I don’t know this guy I just know his age ,and that his of course a life guars. I don’t know if he has a girl friend I want to ask him, but I don’t know how to ask in a friendly way. I want to hang out with him to get to know him ,but I don’t know if this is a good idea because I am afraid that I may Jeopardize things. I don’t want to scare him away or to be tension between me and him when I have to go to my swimming class. I don’t know what to do I as well worry that I may make a fool of my self and get hurt, that he may not respond back to my feelings. I am falling for this guy and I don’t know what to do . his my instructor and is hard to tell him I like him or at leas ask him to hang out. If any body can pleases give me some advice I would really appreciated thanks.

There is this guy i really like. He knows i like him but i don't how he feels about me. I am going to get someone to ask him how he feels about me and wether or not i have a chance with him. The only reason i'm getting someone else to do it is because he won't open up to me. Should i get one of his mates who goes on his bus to talk to him(this fella knows the whole situation cos he seems to keep reminding him that i like him, i don't really get a long with him though). Or should i get his most closest mate to ask him. He doesn't know that i like this guy though, but he has quite a good chance of getting him to open up as well as the other fella. Who should i choose? his closest mate or another mate who actually know the situation. Please help me decide?

The reason why i wanna know if he likes me and if i have a chance is cos he sorta sends me hints, but i have no experince with this stuff and so i need to know for sure. I am really in love with this guy.

So I'm pretty sure I love this guy... ( we've been keeping things a secret ) Except I cannot tell whether or not he is still interested in his ex. They're really good friends, and hang out all the time - To mix things up a bit... She is still in love with him, and he knows it. I don't think he understands how much it hurts me, but I keep my mouth shut cuz I don't know what to do. I've brought up the subject B4... Actully, I started to cry... so i go see beer fest and on the way home i drive by my girlfriends house and her exbf's car is there. now about a year ago i told him if he comes around im gonna hit him. their still kinda friends but i know he's still in love with her. i go in her house and their on opposite ends of the couch watching goodfellas.... so i left and shes txting me and i dunno what to do.... should i go back and hit him or should i break up with her or should i just sit here and get drunk.

Okay, since a lot of people are against spanking women (I understand that), what about a system of GBP's where if a girlfriend is obedient, and does things right (like not burning dinner or folding the clothes the right way or putting dishes in the dishwasher correctly, etc) she can be rewarded. Let's say if she gets 100 GBP's she can her choice of 20 dollars or the night off. However, if she is bad and does things like listen to bad music or talk to other guys without you around she loses GBP's. If she has negative GBP's she has to write a report on why it is important to do the right thing and listen and why she is sorry. Is this a good idea or is there something even better?

There is this guy....conversations are great, chemistry is fantastic...everything is fine...until I see him.
